These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Royal BB website and digital banking services at royalbb.co.za. By opening an account or using any part of our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our services.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to open a Royal BB account. You may hold only one personal account unless we agree otherwise in writing.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when registering, and to keep it up to date. All accounts must complete identity verification before they are activated. We may request identification documents, proof of address or other information at any time, and may suspend access until verification is complete.
You are responsible for keeping your password, passcode and one-time verification codes confidential. Do not share them with anyone, including people claiming to represent Royal BB. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You agree to use Royal BB only for lawful purposes. You may not use the service to facilitate fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or any activity prohibited by South African law. We may refuse, suspend or reverse any transaction we reasonably believe to be unlawful or fraudulent.
Applicable fees for transfers, deposits, withdrawals and other services are displayed before you confirm a transaction, and may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after a fee change constitutes acceptance of the revised fees.
You are responsible for ensuring that recipient details are correct before confirming a transfer. Completed transactions may not be reversible. Processing times shown are estimates and may vary depending on the receiving institution.
We may suspend or close an account where required by law, where verification cannot be completed, where we suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity, or where these terms are breached. You may close your account at any time, subject to settlement of any outstanding balance or obligation.
We aim to keep our services available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Services may be unavailable during maintenance, or due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
To the extent permitted by law, Royal BB is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or losses arising from a failure to keep your account credentials secure. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and software, is owned by or licensed to Royal BB and may not be reproduced without permission.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
